We're theologically conservative Bible-believers with relatively normative Messianic Jewish theology. The following isn't a comprehensive Statement of Faith but instead is a list of core beliefs that a small number of applicants may disagree with.
BIBLE: We believe that the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the inspired Word of God.
HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the immersion of the Holy Spirit and in the spiritual gifts, including the fivefold ministry.
JEWS & GENTILES: Based on Romans 15:8-9 and 1 Corinthians 7:17-18 we believe that there is an ongoing distinction between Jewish and Gentile disciples, that they each have own stories which glorify God in different ways, and that they should stay who they are.
TORAH: Based on the historical fact that the early Nazarenes were Torah-observant, including Paul (Acts 21:24), we believe that Jewish disciples should keep the Torah. Based on Acts 15 and Galatians 5:3 we believe that non-Jewish disciples are welcome to respectfully keep the Torah as grafted-in members of the family of Israel, but that they're not to be pressured.
RABBINIC JUDAISM: We believe that traditional Judaism, to the degree that it doesn't contradict the letter and spirit of the Bible, isn't to be rejected. We believe that Rabbinic literature is useful historically and as Bible commentary. And we believe that if believers do Jewish things (i.e. keep Torah), they should do it the Jewish way.
SACRED NAME: We usually call the Messiah "Yeshua" but are fine with Jesus too. We follow the example of Yeshua and the apostles in calling God Abba/Father, Adonai/Lord, Hashem, etc. We are NOT a Sacred Name school.
If you fit the above description and have no problems with our core beliefs, please fill out the following application form. And likewise, if you know of any young men who may be interested, would you send them our way?
If you have any questions please contact us first.
We look forward to hearing from you!
