Albuquerque, New Mexico, is home to the Messianic School of Discipleship.
With a greater population of almost a million people, Albuquerque is the highest altitude metropolitan city in the United States. It's famous for red and green chile, the annual Balloon Fiesta which draws tens of thousands from around the world, and for the show 'Breaking Bad'.
Summers are hot and dry, with temperatures reaching 100 degrees, but graced by a monsoon season of afternoon showers. Winters are moderate but crisp, with temperatures often dipping below freezing at night, and visited by the occasional temporary snowfall.
Albuquerque is home to a small but diverse Jewish population, with synagogues ranging from Conservative and Chabad to Renewal and Reform. It also has a relatively high proportion of believing Christians, with 25% of the statewide population identifying as Evangelical.
New Mexico is the 47th State in the Union and is right under Colorado, where the Rocky Mountains begin to taper off. Straddling the continental divide, New Mexico features a high desert climate, getting more wind and sunshine than any other State.
New Mexico is famous for its old Spanish architecture, food, and culture. Notably, it's also home to a large population of Crypto-Jews who fled the Inquisition, settled as far north as possible, and kept their identity secret for generations.

The Messianic School of Discipleship is located at Coronado Village in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Coronado Village is a community of mobile homes and RVs just off the I-25 with approximately 300 lots. It features a large park and playground, swimming pool and hot tub, and clubhouse with a workout area. Our Director lives here with his family.
Students are responsible for their own room and board. Mobile homes rent for $1200+/month and RV lots are $650/month.
Students can rent a mobile together, co-purchase an RV and then share rent, or bring their own RVs. After your application to the School has been approved you'll be given access to the Telegram group where you can figure out living arrangements together.
To rent a mobile home or RV lot at Coronado Village you need to be at least 18. Their management will do a background check to ensure you don't have outstanding rental debts or a criminal record, and you'll be required to pay a deposit. And if you have an RV they'll ask you to submit a picture showing it's in good condition.
Visit the Coronado Village websites for more information and if you have questions please contact them directly. And if housing at Coronado Village is temporarily unavailable other local options could work too, as long as you'd still be able to make it to Coronado Village daily for the all-school meetings.
One of our distinctives is affordability because we agree with the commandment to not go into debt (Romans 13:8). Another two of our distinctives are real life experience and sustainability. That means the lifestyle our students have at the school would work anywhere else, and for the rest of their lives. For these reasons we charge the lowest tuition possible and offer a flexible schedule so our students can work to support themselves as needed.
Studying at the Messianic School of Discipleship costs approximately $100 a month:
✦ School tuition is $100/month or $1000/year.
✦ Access to holylanguage.com is $9/month or $90/year.
✦ Access to mussar.center is $7/month or $70/year.
✦ There is also the occasional required reading expense.
After your application has been approved payments can be made online or in cash. Tax-deductible receipts can also be arranged. Please note that in most cases payments are non-refundable.
